The Annual Charity Barbecue
and Cruise In
took place
Saturday, August 20, 2005 from
1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
August 20th was Smyrna's Annual Charity
B-B-Q and Cruise-In which was a huge success. We took in over
$10,000. All of the money raised will go to the nine
designated charities (Alzheimer's Association, American Diabetes
Association, American Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy
Association, Parkinson's Foundation Center of Oregon, Wegener's Granulomatosis Association, American Heart Association,
Autism Society, Crohn's & Colitis Foundation). Everyone had a
wonderful time and worked very hard. A special "huge thank you" to
Rick and Cindy Dishner who did our B-B-Q again this year.
2005 Vacation Bible School
We had a wonderful VeggieTales VBS! We had
27 different kids attending
