Kirstan Gano's baptism was celebrated at Camp Adams on the day of Smyrna's outdoor worship on Sunday, July 9th.  The baptism took place at the river close to the swimming hole.

 

Note that Kirstan's shirt matches her baptism quilt.  Kirstan accidentally spilled juice on the shirt had chosen to wear and she had to change right before leaving for Camp Adams.  The butterfly shirt that you see is what she put on.  Josette Waitman made the baptism quilt and only she, Jim and Susan knew it had butterflies on it.  When it was presented to Kirstan during her baptism, it amazingly matched her shirt!
