For those at risk during sustained hot or very cold weather, several organizations provide temporary shelter:
Canby Adult Center, at 1250 S. Ivy St. Open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Hot coffee available. Service animals are welcome, but no pets, please! ADA accessible.
Canby Public Library, at 220 NE 2nd Ave. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Service animals are welcome, but no pets, please! ADA accessible.
Molalla Adult Community Center, at 122 Grange Ave. Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Service animals are welcome, but no pets, please! ADA accessible.
